Traci D. Craig, CPNP-PC, started her career in Pediatrics in 2009 working as a nurse in the Neonatal ICU at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas after graduation from Texas Tech University School of Nursing. While working as a nurse she had many opportunities to expand her knowledge in pediatrics by additionally working in the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Emergency Room. In 2011 she joined the Neonatal/Pediatric Transport Team and found her passion in providing critical care in surrounding communities while stabilizing and transporting patients. In 2013, Traci obtained her Lactation Certification, as she noticed there was a lack of support for breastfeeding mothers, particularly those with high-risk infants. During her time as a nurse, she was involved within the hospital setting providing education and evidence based policies to fellow nurses through various committees and mentorships.
In 2015, Traci graduated once again from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Masters in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Since graduation she has worked as a  Pediatric Urgent Care Provider and as Pediatric Primary Care Provider. Traci guest lectures at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students about high risk infants, toddlerhood, nutrition and basic breastfeeding education.
Traci, and her husband Josh, have two children. In her spare time, Traci loves running and doing just about anything outdoors!
